9 Steps Protocol
We can’t wait to be able to open our doors and see you all again. As soon as the government confirms we can open we will be back!
Meanwhile we are aware there will need to be changes to our ways of working to protect all so we have been busy working on preparing our 9 step protocol to ensure both staff and clients can feel safe and secure on appointments.
SMALLER THAN NORMAL TEAMS WILL BE WORKING AT ANY ONE TIME ENSURING SPACING DISTANCE IS MAINTAINED BETWEEN CLIENTS AND STYLISTS.
STYLISTS WILL BE WEARING MASKS, APRONS AND GLOVES, AND WILL BE ASKED TO CHANGE INTO A CLEAN T-SHIRT WHEN THEY ARRIVE AT THE SALON.
STYLISTS WILL BE WORKING WITH ONE CLIENT AT A TIME. TO ENSURE WE CAN ACCOMMODATE ALL REQUESTS WE WILL PROVIDE LONGER OPENING HOURS.
THERE WILL BE NO WAITING AREA. OUR STYLISTS WILL ONLY ALLOW YOU ENTRY TO THE SALON ONCE THE CLIENT BEFORE YOU HAS LEFT AND THEY ARE READY FOR YOU. APPOINTMENTS NEED TO BE BOOKED EITHER BY PHONE OR EMAIL. PLEASE DO NOT POP INTO THE SALONS WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT.
CLIENTS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH DISPOSABLE GOWNS, TOWELS, GLOVES AND MASKS, AND WE ASK THAT THESE ARE WORN WHILST IN THE SALON.
CHAIRS, STOOLS, WORK-STATIONS AND EQUIPMENT USED WILL BE CLEANED WITH ANTI-BACTERIAL PRODUCTS BETWEEN EACH APPOINTMENT.
PERSPEX SCREENS WILL BE AT RECEPTION AND WILL BE USED TO DIVIDE SOME OF THE STATIONS WHERE REQUIRED.
THE SAME HIGH LEVEL OF CLIENT CARE AND SERVICE WILL REMAIN HOWEVER, FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING MAGAZINES AND WILL BE SERVING REFRESHMENTS IN DISPOSABLE CUPS. FOR LONGER APPOINTMENTS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BRING IN BOOKS OR MAGAZINES FOR YOUR OWN USE AND TAKE THEM WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE.
BATHROOM WILL BE ANTI-BACTERIAL CLEANED BETWEEN EACH CLIENT OR STAFF VISIT. THE SALON WILL ALSO BE ANTI-BACTERIAL DEEP CLEANED BY PROFESSIONAL CLEANERS EVERY EVENING.
FOR THE FIRST MONTH ON SUNDAYS WE WILL BE OPEN HOWEVER, THIS WILL BE A FREE SERVICE PURELY FOR THE NHS WORKERS.
We will endeavour to ensure that you can book with your preferred stylist. We are commencing a list of waiting appointments and it is important to us that our existing clients have priority so please kindly email us asap at firstname.lastname@example.org with the service you require, the salon location and your stylist. As soon as we know when we will be open, we will email you to find out the times and days that suit you so that we can get you booked in.
We do kindly ask for your consideration at this time to arrive on time and for all colour appointments we will require a prepaid deposit.
We have truly missed each and every one of our clients and our wonderful stylists and we can't wait to emerge from this lockdown safely and to see you all.
